Alex Ferguson makes his prediction involving the UEFA Champions League

On June 3 of 2017, Real Madrid made history as they overcame Juventus in the finals of the UEFA Champions League as the Spanish club became the very 1st club to defend the prestigious European title.

Real Madrid had already previously won the UEFA Champions League title during the season of 2015-16 and did once again in the following season.

Being able to accomplish this historic achievement is something monumental but Sir. Alex Ferguson believes that Real Madrid is far from done as the icon of Manchester United is certain that ZinedineZidane will continue to do record breaking things as the head coach of Real Madrid.

“You have to understand how good Real Madrid is now. They’re a mature team, they’ve been together for three, four, five years all of their players together. It gives them great continuity and understanding of the roles they’ve all got to play. It’s a real team”

“Personally, I think Real Madrid will be very difficult to beat, I think they’re a great team. I’m hoping United in Group A along with Benfica, Basel and CSKA Moscow will do well this year with a very strong team” Former Manchester United manager Sir. Alex Ferguson said.

Something important to take into consideration is the fact that not only did Real Madrid win the UEFA Champions League for the season of 2016-17 but they also emerged as the champions of the Spanish League, La Liga for that same season.

Those are 2 pieces of silverware that are difficult to obtain and just being able to win 1 of these trophies is a huge privilege but with ZinedineZidane at the helm, Real Madrid was able to accomplish it during the same period of time.

Winning the UEFA Champions League for a 3rd successive time is a feat that just about every club in the world of football hopes to accomplish someday but Sir. Alex Ferguson is fairly certain that Real Madrid has a really big chance of fulfilling this remarkable feat.
